Why Choose Online Pre-Reservations?

At Miller Homes, we understand that buying a home is one of the biggest decisions you'll ever make. That's why we’ve streamlined the process to make it as straightforward as possible. If you’ve spotted the home you want, our online pre-reservations option allows you to take it off the market immediately, all from the comfort of your home. You can then schedule an in-person visit to our sales centre to proceed with the formal reservation.

How to Identify Eligible Homes

Online pre-reservations are available for specific homes, easily identifiable with the online reservations icon Online reservations next to their listings. On the homes where it is available, you will see a ‘Pre-reserve this home' button.

What happens after you Pre-reserve?

  • Step 1: Complete the Pre-reservation Form

After clicking the 'Pre-reserve this home' button, you'll be prompted to fill out a brief form online and pay a fee of £150.

  • Step 2: Confirmation and Next Steps

Once your pre-reservation is complete, we’ll reach out to you within 72 hours to discuss your next steps. We’ll also schedule an appointment for you to visit our sales centre within the next 5 days. At this visit, we will discuss all the relevant facts about the purchase with you and, if you’re happy, you can finalise your reservation by paying the remaining reservation fee.

As we understand this is a busy time of year, if you complete a pre-reservation from 19th December, we will hold the home you have pre-reserved until you are able to visit us for your Reservation and Welcome Meeting. Your Online Pre-reservation fee will not automatically be refunded during the holiday period. If we are not able to contact you within 72 hours of our sales centres reopening or if a reservation is not completed by you within the following 5 days to make an appointment to progress your reservation, we reserve the right to cancel the pre-reservation and return the fee to you.

What If Things Change?

If, for any reason, we can't contact you within 72 hours or you don't complete the reservation within the 5-day window, we reserve the right to cancel your pre-reservation, and the initial £150 fee will be returned to you. Please note that it may take a few days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank’s procedures.

Is this  Final Reservation?

No, completing an online pre-reservation simply secures the home you're interested in by taking it off the market temporarily. It gives you the breathing room to make an informed decision without feeling rushed.

What’s Next: The Reservation and Welcome Meeting

The final reservation will only be completed once you visit our sales centre in person. During this appointment, we’ll take you through the whole buying process and make sure you have all the information you need, and that you fully understand the details of the home you are buying.  Once you are happy, you'll be asked to complete any remaining identification checks and complete a formal reservation form. Only after these steps are taken and the remaining reservation fee is paid will the reservation be completed.
