Miller Homes Named Best Housebuilder In The UK

Miller Homes is celebrating after being awarded the title of Best Homebuilder in the UK at this year’s ESTAS.

The leading housebuilder received the award in the Buyers’ Choice Homebuilder category, which was sponsored by Zoopla.  The awards were announced by Phil Spencer, the TV property expert, at a ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane in London attended by 900 of the UK’s top property professionals.

Now in their 13^th year, the ESTAS determine the best developers, estate agents, mortgage brokers and conveyancers through research carried out amongst clients who are asked a series of questions about the service they have received from their firm. Over 30,000 questionnaires were completed by customers during the competition. 

National awards were given out for developers in three size bands - 10-50 homes, 51-100 homes and 100+ homes - with Miller Homes taking top prize in the large category after winning a regional award in late 2015 for its Varcity South development in Edinburgh.

Phil Spencer, who has hosted the ESTAS every year since their inception in 2003, said: “For many customers moving home is one of the most stressful experiences of their lives and it’s our job as developers, agents, mortgage brokers and conveyancers to help make the journey as smooth as possible. It’s crucial everyone provides the high quality service the customer expects and deserves. For this reason the ESTAS recognises all firms involved in the buying and selling process.  Developers, agents, brokers and conveyancers are all judged in exactly the same way, purely on customer feedback.”
