We are delighted to share that the Home Builders Federation (HBF) has awarded Miller Homes its maximum five-star rating for customer satisfaction for the 13th time in 14 years, following the results of its annual New Homes Customer Satisfaction Survey, which collects feedback from new homeowners across the country.
Customer satisfaction across the industry improved in 2024, with 94% of all respondents stating that they would recommend their builder to a friend, compared to 90% in 2023. Miller Homes surpassed the industry average score for 2024, with a score of 94.9%.
Stewart Lynes, Chief Executive Officer at Miller Homes, said:
“Receiving this prestigious accolade from the HBF is a testament to the dedication, passion and hard work of every single person at Miller Homes, and demonstrates our unwavering commitment to delivering the best possible experience for customers throughout their home buying journey and beyond.
“As a business we strive to exceed our customers’ expectations wherever possible. This award acknowledges our efforts to provide exceptional customer service as standard and reaffirms our position as a leader in the industry.”
The New Homes Customer Satisfaction Survey is sent to purchasers of new build homes eight weeks after they move in. From 2025 onwards, HBF’s 5-star ratings will be based on the results of both an 8 week and 9-month Customer Satisfaction Survey. Survey results are published annually by the HBF in March each year.
Steve Turner, Executive Director at the Home Builders Federation, said: “This year’s increased scores evidence the industry’s commitment to its customers, outperforming satisfaction levels achieved by most sectors.
“Achieving such high levels of customer satisfaction from the people best placed to rate your performance is a fantastic achievement for the industry. Such scores are the result of hard work and dedication across the home building workforce, from sites to the boardroom.”
