We are looking to recruit a Senior Land Manager to join our Teesside team at an exciting time. Backed by private equity, Miller Homes are amidst a rapid growth strategy. We are looking for someone with ambition and a proven track record in land acquisition to join our team!

We are strategically positioned across ten regions, with two in Scotland, four in the North of England and a further four across the Midlands and South of England, with a strong, well-established presence in sought-after suburban locations in regional markets. Backed by private equity, we are actively looking to identify and purchase land for future development to aid our significant growth plans in the Teesside region.
Our skilled land teams have an extensive understanding of the planning system, excellent local knowledge and an enviable track record of delivering commercially viable planning consents. We specialise in problem solving, finding technical solutions for complex sites, and finding economic solutions to longstanding issues.
We are looking to recruit a Senior Land Manager to join our Teesside team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in land acquisition, with strong commercial acumen and ambition. This role will be responsible for managing both internal and external resources in a cost-effective manner, reporting directly to the Regional Land Director.

• Ensure the effective use of resources by programming and prioritising work in order to ensure timely land delivery and minimises delays due to their understanding of the risks involved in each of the projects.
Requirements:
• Experience of land acquisition, preferably gained in a private house building environment
• Knowledge of legal, technical and planning matters related to the land acquisition process
• An established contact base within the prescribed region / area
• Relevant degree/professional qualifications, or similar by experience
